Our Mission…
The art of quilting is a beautiful gift! Our Mission, as members of the Creative Quilters Guild of Ellis County, is to further advance the love of quilting and to preserve its long and treasured history. As diverse members of this guild, we have many of the same goals: to create, to give of our time and talents, to donate charitably throughout our community, to explore and promote the art of quilting, to teach and inspire, and to encourage and nurture others to grow in their love of this wonderful world of quilting.

Guild Meetings
Meetings are held at the Waxahachie Bible Church, located at 621 North Grand Avenue in Waxahachie, Texas on the 4th Monday of each month. Social time starts at 6:00pm, and the meeting starts at 6:30pm. Please enter through the side entrance of the building. All correspondence should be sent to CQGEC at PO BOX 301, Midlothian, Tx 76065.

2024 Donation Quilt
The drawing for our 2024 Donation Quilt, “In The Zen Garden” will be held on Saturday, July 20th at 3:00pm. The Quilt Show will be held July 19 & 20, 2024 at the Sokol Hall in Ennis TX. You do not have to be present to win. Each six-ticket booklet will be $5.00. Coming soon!
